Take a nice leisurely cruise of the Charles River. You will enter the Charles River by going through the locks at the Charles River Dam and then into the Charles River Basin. The cruises will then continue under the Longfellow Bridge, past the Esplanade, along Storrow Drive, past the Harvard Boathouse and even view the famous Citgo sign by Fenway Park. These are just some of the sights you will see on your cruises. The Charles River, which flows 80 miles from Hopkinton to Boston Harbor, is one of the busiest recreational rivers in the world. Many rowing and sailing clubs as well as recreational boaters and fisherman use the Charles River.
This is a great place to bring out your camera and take great pictures.
Picnic any one? The Charles River Basin is a great place to anchor, take in the sun's rays and have lunch.
