Captain Carl Mahlstedt Charter Boat Captain Boston

Captain Carl Mahlstedt, born and raised on the New Jersey Shore, has spent most of his life boating and fishing. He sailed with Navy for four years on a nuclear submarine and spent several months refitting a 36' replica of Joshua Slocum's Spray in Denmark.

Carl sailed on a merchant supply ship to Europe, South America, the Arctic, and Antarctica. He worked as a commercial diver for the government of Taiwan, a Singapore-based drilling company, and as a diver for a company based in Beverly, MA. He sailed to the Florida Keys and lived aboard a 36' sailboat for a year.
